I had an appointment this morning with my therapist. I normally don't look forward to therapy but, today was different. This was the first time that I had been seen since my most recent surgery (#7). I was looking forward to getting my hard cast off and stitches removed. Well the cast came off but, a new splint went. Not what I had hoped for. Anyways, on the way home I decided to stop by my local goodwill store to see if they had any cameras of interest in. To my surprise they had this little gem! This is a Cannot QL17. These cameras were marketed in 1965 and sold worldwide. I had been wanting a working "poor man's Leica" for sometime. To my surprise this one is in pristine condition and fully functioning including the meter. It came with the optional full leather case as well. It was priced at $19.99 but today was 50% off pink price tags and well this one was pink. My day had just turned around! I immediately loaded some FujiFilm Superia I had in my car and began snapping away. Here are a few quick shots.
