Went out early this morning into the Wisconsin countryside to try and capture the Lunar Eclipse.  I'm not thrilled by the pictures I got.  Unfortunately the lenses I had on hand were either far to long or way to wide to get a good composition.  Along with my 14, 35 & 56 I brought an old tamron 500mm f/8.0 mirror lens and 2x converter.  I have used this lens in the past with great success shooting full moons.  However, the dimly light moon made it extremely hard to achieve critical focus.  Either way Im glad I got out and shot.  I also stuck around for a great sunrise and some amazing fall colors.
